Dashboard

The dashboard gives you a live view of your organisation's current cyber risk posture. It is designed to surface what matters — at a glance for executives, and in depth for technical teams.

Your posture score

The posture score is a single number on a 0–100 scale representing your organisation's current cyber risk position. A higher score reflects a stronger, lower-risk posture. A lower score indicates more unresolved risk requiring attention.

The score is derived from your active vulnerability backlog and is updated whenever a new assessment is completed or when remediation activity changes your risk profile.

Posture bands

Your score maps to one of six named posture bands. These give you an immediate, plain-language read on where your organisation sits across the risk spectrum.

BandScore rangeWhat it signals
Severe0–19Critical unresolved exposure. Immediate escalation and resource priority required.
Critical20–34High-impact gaps present. Urgent remediation effort required across multiple areas.
High35–49Meaningful risk exposure. Active remediation underway but material gaps remain.
Moderate50–61Managed risk posture with identifiable areas requiring ongoing attention.
Guarded62–77Generally sound posture. Residual risk items tracked and in control.
Strong78–100Low active exposure. Risk programme operating effectively with high remediation closure rates.

Risk heat indicator

The colour gradient bar beneath your score header provides a visual reference for where your current score sits across the full risk spectrum — from red at the high-risk end to green at the low-risk end. A marker shows your current position and a secondary indicator shows your previous score, making directional movement immediately visible.

The Direction indicator reflects recent trend movement: improving, worsening, or stable, based on how your backlog has changed over the most recent period.

Executive and technical views

The dashboard offers two views of the same underlying data, switchable from the top of the page.

  • Executive view — Summarises top risk themes, projected remediation impact, financial exposure context, and a strategic narrative suitable for leadership communication.
  • Technical view — Surfaces finding-level detail, severity breakdown, asset exposure signals, and the operational backlog relevant to security and engineering teams.

The view preference is preserved in the URL, so links shared with colleagues will open in the same view context.

Posture source

Your dashboard score reflects your most recently published assessment baseline. Published assessments represent the approved, authoritative view of your risk posture — they are the snapshots your score and reports are anchored to.

When an assessment is in progress but not yet published, the dashboard continues to show the last published baseline so your reported posture remains stable and does not fluctuate during an active review cycle.
